Saint Francis of Assisi,
patron of the Marian Fathers
of the Immaculate Conception,
please hear my prayer.
Help the Marian Fathers live their
charism as true “apostles of Divine Mercy”
under the maternal and loving guidance
of Our Lady, the Immaculate Conception.
May they also continue to assist the
Holy Souls in Purgatory
and serve Christ and His Church
faithfully and fervently in the spirit of their
Founder, St. Stanislaus Papczyński. Amen.

Saint Francis of Assisi (1181-1226), patron of Italy, animals, and ecology, embraced poverty in order to give everything to Jesus. Determined to live a Gospel life, he found perfect joy through great suffering, humiliation, the loss of his family and friends — but also found himself repaid a hundredfold with a new family in his Franciscan order, those who saw his sanctity and responded with love. Feast day: Oct. 4.
